It looks like the Braves will finally get some outfield help with the acquisition of veteran Garret Anderson. They have reached a preliminary one year deal worth 2.5 million and are now awaiting Anderson to pass a physical.
Anderson, 36, will be, in my opinion, a good addition to help mentor the young outfield much like Ken Griffey Jr. would have been. We all know Jeff Franceouer needs all the mental help he can get after last season.
Garret Anderson had played his entire carrer for the Angels.
