Griffey returns to where it all began

Ken Griffey Jr., 39, will be making a return to the Seattle Mariners this year after spending 9 seasons with the Reds and a short stint with the White Sox. Once again he'll be wearing number 24. Griffey joked that he might wear number 45 like Mike Jordan did when he returned to the Bulls.

Griffey was torn between signing with the Atlanta Braves and his former team(Mariners) and after a rumor got out saying Griffey was indeed signing with the Braves, Griffey picked the Mariners.

(Braves fans, don't worry to much. You now have Garret Anderson and some young talented outfielders coming soon.)

Griffey has 611 career homeruns, and in my books is a first ballot HOF'er. Some questions abound in whether he'll be mainly a DH or be split playing both DH and some outfield.
